The Adjustment Bureau is a high-profile film with a thick political plot. Starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, the story revolves around a young and dynamic congressman who is eyeing a seat in the Senate. Matt Damon plays David Norris, the most eligible Senator and bachelor who is ready to make positive changes for the country - until his drunken shots made it into the papers thus making him lose his strong bid on the polls.
He then denounced all his political ambitions, much to the surprise of his supporters. His decision has a lot to do with his short but eventful meeting with the very beautiful and free-spirited Elise (Emily Blunt). He is ready to leave his office and all the politics that go along with it when a very powerful group, which calls itself The Adjustment Bureau, started to pull his strings and tried to end his romance with Elise. Both David and Elise are in danger as the Bureau uses all its powers to manipulate their lives.
