New Year's Eve (2011) Review

New Year's Eve is one of those films that gather of high-caliber stars and combine them in one big movie. Veteran and young actors complete the cast of this new romantic comedy film. The ensemble is lead by Robert de Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer. Joining along are Ashton Kutcher, Zac Efron, and Jessica Beil. Initially, the film is supposed to be a sequel to Valentine's Day, where all the characters in the film lead a life of their own until they get intertwined with each other on that fateful day.
In New Year's Eve, Robert de Niro plays an old man dying on a hospital bed. Bon Jovi is part of the film too and he plays a rock star. Michelle Pfeffier, on the other hand, is an executive secretary who wants to finally fulfill her New Year resolutions. New Year's Eve also stars Hale Berry, Hillary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Ice Cube, Alyssa Milano, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Ryan Seacrest, among others.
