Arthur is a romance comedy starring Russell Brand. He is best described as the playboy who is also very immature in many ways. In an attempt to straighten up his life, his mother told him that he will only inherit the family's fortune that is worth an astounding $950 million if he marries Susan (Jennifer Garner), who incidentally is also a rich heiress. His mother believes that Susan is the only one who will be able to make a good and responsible man out of him.

However, things get complicated when Arthur finally fell in love not with Susan but with Naomi (Great Gerwig), who is a lowly tour guide. Now he must choose between love and money. Would Arthur stick to the one he loves and leave his big fortune behind or would he go for the money and forget the only girl he learned how to love?
